Eagle Ridge Golf Clubhouse – Shapell Industries – Gilroy, CA

Originally designed by consultants in the Mid-West, this 23,000 sq. ft. building could not be constructed here due to non-conformance with local building codes. AKH provided a complete structural redesign working closely with the Contractor and original Architect. Steel- and wood-framed third and second levels are supported by a subterranean masonry structure below. The building houses offices, a pro-shop, restaurant and bar with covered verandas, above cart storage/repair and mechanical spaces. Completed in 1998.
